Silver-winning Sacramone greeted by town-wide hero’s welcome

A key witness and victim of the robbery and double shooting that claimed the life of a Winchester man on Oct. 24, 2007, died last month, according to his family.

A dead crow discovered in Winchester Monday has tested positive for West Nile Virus, according to a press release from the Board of Health. 

Just as the homecoming parade in honor of Olympic Gymnast Alicia Sacramone got underway, the Winchester Fire Department was called to a fire at a restaurant on Main Street.

 A Woburn man was arrested Sunday night at about 10:30 p.m. after allegedly leading police on a high-speed chase through a Cross Street neighborhood.
